 Car
ferries leave Piombino almost hourly for Portoferraio in the
summer season. There are also a couple of daily ferries for
Porto Azzurro and Rio Marina The main shipping companies are the
Toremar and Mobylines.
The crossing Piombino-Portoferraio takes one hour.
Recently a new "fast" boat carrying a limited number of cars is
in service. A hydrofoil service (no cars) takes 40 minutes.
During the summer Elba is connected by many flights by italian
and foreign companies from the following airports: Milano
Malpensa and Linate, Pisa, Zürich, Bern, Friedrichshafen,
München. The airport is located in La Pila, approx. 15 km from
our hotel
HOTEL PRIMULA ***
A traditional styled hotel in a spacious colourful garden with
swimming pool in the centre of the charming village of Marciana
Marina, only a stone's throw from the waterfront. The Hotel is
situated in the center of the caracteristical town of Marciana
Marina, just 50 meters from the sea-promenade and the small
pebble beach. Once arrived in Portoferraio just follow the
directions of Procchio and then Marciana Marina (15 km).
HOTEL VILLA GIULIA ***
The hotel is situated in the locality Lido di Capoliveri. If you
get of the ferry at Porto Azzurro, just follow the indications
of Portoferraio. After the crossing for Capoliveri, just
continue streight, direction Lido and after 2 km. you will find
our hotel on the left side. If you come from Portoferraio,
follow the direction of Porto Azzurro. After the crossing for
Lacona, continue straight, direction Lido and after 1 km you
find our hotel on the left side.
HOTEL IMPERIA **
The Hotel is situated in the center of the caracteristical town
of Marciana Marina, just 50 meters from the sea-promenade and
the small pebble beach. Once arrived in Portoferraio just follow
the directions of Procchio and then Marciana Marina (15 km).
In Marciana Marina turn immediately right at the service station
and drive down to the sea. Here you have to turn left and follow
the sea promenade for arround 200 meters. Then take the first
street on the left (Viale Amedeo). You will find our Hotel after
50 meters on the right side.
