THE
BEACHES AT PORTOFERRAIO
Biodola village (Portoferraio) has one of the three most
beautiful beaches in Biodola gulf. This wonderful resort has
houses and mainly hotels. Biodola, Scaglieri and Forno are the
most frequented places by tourists. The beach is provided with
diving centres, windsurf, rubber dinghy and pedalo rental
points, as well as bathing establishments with the possibility
of renting beach umbrellas. This fine sand beach is about 600 m
long in all. It can be easily reached from the B-road
Procchio-Portoferrario: there is a crossroads to Biodola halfway
between the two villages
